Davit Mounting
The installation of a davit arm on to a wall often requires reinforcement of the building structure. Since most modern buildings are designed to minimum code requirements, there may be one or more weldments (by CWB operators) installed behind the outer panels, which 'bridge' and 'channel' loading forces to other beams and columns of the building. Depending on the loads, the columns may also require reinforcement.
